A refreshing traditional Belgian wheat beer (witbier) with a fruity fragrance and flavour. Wheat malt makes this beer soft and creamy while the aromatic notes of citrus peel and coriander ensure freshness. Sweet and sour are well-balanced, slightly sharpened by a mild bitterness in the background.

330ml bottle. Cloudy, dark yellow-ish, golden colour with small to average, frothy, moderately lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Sweet-ish, wheaty, yeasty fruity aroma, notes of banana, dried banana, some malty and yeasty spiciness,, whiffs of citrusy fruitiness. Taste is sweet-ish, wheaty malty, yeasty fruity and slightly yeasty spicy, minimally diluted notes of banana, dried banana, some clove, slightly dry and grassy, hoppy counterpart; slightly overcarbonated. A bit untypical Wit: not overly citrusy and more yeasty and malty spicy than coriander flavoured. Quite nice nevertheless.

Honeyaroma. Sweet, yeasty, sugary flavor with grapes. The yeastiness overpowers the other flavors. A later sample, well matured, convinced a bit more. Almost clear, blonde with a touch of orange, no foam, Orange with a touch of lemon and traubenzucker. Friendly witbier.

33cl bottle from Abeervinum, Rimini, Italy. Pours good with moderate white foam. Aroma is cereal, maybe saison yeast too. Body and carbonation are average. Taste is moderately sweet with a hint of sour. Very close to a saison, in my view. Finish is fairly short.

A golden and hazy beer, a head is quite small and white. Aroma has wheat, coriander, lemon and some banana, fresh. Taste is also fresh, lemon, spicyness of coriander, light wheat. Almost medium bodied, balanced carbonation. Great and refreshing witber.

Hazy pale golden colour, a lot of bubbles, small frothy white head, mostly diminishing, light lacing. Aroma wheat, yeast, hint green apples, coriander, cloves. Taste medium sweet, light bitter and very light acidity, wheat, yeast, coriander, orange peel. Lght sweet and sourish aftertaste, with also light bitterness in the finish, spices, yeast, medium body, watery texture, soft carbonation. Refreshing and pleasant witbier, nice.

Aningen disig äppeljuicefärgad med lågt vitt skum. Fin doft med mycket belgokaraktär, vete, jäst, kryddor, äpplen och citrus. Smaken är plattare, särskilt kropp saknas, känns som ett lågalkoholöl och det drabbar smakbilden som blir tunn även om smakerna finns där. Relativt stiltypisk men saknar lite friskhet. Ok.

Flesje thuis gedronken. Goudgeel helder bier met weinig schuim. Weinig aroma en smaak. Ietsje bitter in de nasmaak.
