A recent 16 oz can delivered from Half Time. Best by Apr24 it says, hmm. It’s a Belgian ale not an IPA, should be okay. I’ve placed my Straffe Hendrik snifter to receive the pour and I proceed. The appearance is a peach orange-gold topped by a vigorous head of off-white foam. I smell plenty of ripe yellow fruit, some yeastiness and honey. I get to the drink. Apricots, white bread, malt, a bit of caramel sweetness and there’s an obvious bitterness too. Plenty of depth in the sensation, quite full. Compares well with many I’ve had in the style.

Can. Pours hazy orange/golden with small foamy whitish head, salty earthy aroma, high carbonation, lightly salty spicy taste with typical Belgian yeast characteristics, hint of cloves and alcohol undertones, thin body, medium bitter finish. Nice brew, the high alcohol content is well masked.
