Bottled, thanks (Euro trade, was it Benzai? Or someone equally kind...) Dark brown, mid sized beige head. Aroma of coffee and bread. Mid sweet with medium-full body and rounded mouthfeel. Caramel and coffee. Low bitterness. Mellow, but not very distinct.

Bottle at Black night 10/2015, received in Summer Euro Santa 15. Thanks Santa! Aroma first whiff citrusy, orange, marshmallows, zesty. Interesting. Clear very dark colour, brown head. Taste is rich, lots of malty backbone, caramel, chocolate, roasted. Rather lively carbonation, easy drinking, hidden alcohol. Excellent.

Bottle shared at chriso’s Easter 2015 tasting - London. Pours clear brown with a big, frothy tan head. The nose holds brown bread, light tangy dark fruits. Light to medium sweet flavor with more tangy dark fruits, ash, cocoa, raisins. Medium bodied with average to lively carbonation. Sweet finish with ashy roast and leathery dark fruits. OK.

330ml bottle at home as part of European Local Swap 01/2015 from RW80, many thanks. black color, small coffee-colored head. smell of coffee roast, light ash, very light smoke notes. full body, soft carbonation, rather slick mouthfeel. tastes coffee roast, lightly sour, bitter chocolate, some caramel, light citric notes. rather dry roasty bitter finish. quite nice, not overly complex, but quite easy to drink, feels actually lighter than the ABV would suggest. If this was available to me I definitly would drink it more often.
