Bloody ‘Ell – We have never brewed a straight IPA at Beavertown, why change the habit of a lifetime! Here we take a stripped back IPA malt bill and highly hop it with the tropics of Amarillo and Citra and pile head on with kilos of Blood Orange zest and juice late in the boil, bringing you a smack of citrus and hints of warm orange aromas. One of our favourite and most popular seasonal brews. We will be canning Bloody ‘Ell too from February until the bloody oranges run dry!

Can@Rex, Umeå. Hazy golden colour, small white head. Aroma is fruity, grassy, bitter, floral and some mild nutty notes to it. Flavour is fruity, floral, wooden and some mild blood orange and bitter grassy notes in the finish. Well balanced and leaves a nice aftertaste.

330 ml cans from Ammersin 5, Vienna, shared at RB Tasting Vienna March Edition.
Bright orange, hazy body, with a big, creamy, white head.
Lovely aroma of citrus, flowers, stone fruits, some orange and the typical earthy, yeasty notes, many Beavertown beers have.
Taste follows this, with some more grapefruit and lemon zest and a not too dominant, smooth malt backbone.
Medium, oily mouthfeel, with an average carbonation.
Finishes bitter, zesty, grassy, a bit fruity.

Very tasty! So quaffable and well balanced, with a pleasant, full fruitiness. Didn’t notice the blood orange much, except some subtle orange notes. One of the very best beers from Beavertown in my opinion and an IPA how I love it.

Tap at Pivo, Oulu. Colour is slightly cloudy golden with small white head. Aromas and flavours: Fruits, orange, orange peel, some lemon, tropical fruits, hops and malts. OK, superfruity but has some drinkability problems.
