Tap @MBCC 2019, yellow session. Dark brown colored beer. Roasty, sweet, getting some molasses , some dry woody notes later. Barrel in the back. Smooth sweet finish, still feels surprisingly light for the abv.

Draught at the source: pours dark brown with a beige head. Aroma is chocolate, cogar, and a bit of molasses. Hoppier and less molasses driven than its its Eastern European forefathers. My version was said to have 9.2% alcohol and that booze went down pretty smooth. Good beer.

Draught @ Milk and Hops - Chelsea. Inky black with very small frothy beige head, strong coffee aroma, medium carbonation, sweetish mocha taste, smooth body, medium mocha finish. Tastes more like a milk stout than a Baltic porter.

Tap at Jeffrey it seems Threes is starting to make way around town a bit. Slick and black beer. Nose is dark chocolate and dark fruit. Tastes of plums, light cherry, sherry, chocolate, slight soy sauce. Slick palate. Very easy and smooth drinking. No booze or much sweetness.

Tap at brewpub. Dark brown color, small beige head. Aroma is toasted malty with caramalt and hints of chocolate. Medium-bodied. Malty, caramel, hints of dark chocolate. Some alcohol but smooth palate. Nice to see Baltic Porter in Usa brewed so close to Baltic style (ref Saku Porter, Aldaris Porter). This is very good version!
