12oz can from Tavour. Dark, dark brown pour, filmy beige head, ring. Aroma is roasty malts, light sweetness, wood and smoke. Taste gets very smoky, sweetness too, molasses. A light tingly bitterness remains on the palate.

On tap @3s. December 2019. Whatever standard goblet thingie they use. My notes don't say. Brown, not quite black pour. Inviting brown lace. Subtle BBQ burnt ends & cocoa. Taste is cocoa, bbq, a nod to sweet malt, while crashing hard into a mellow lingering bitterness that is just great. Smoke! Smooth, slick, low to moderate carbonation. Very good.

12oz can pours a cola brown with a ring of beige head. Nose has smoke and sausage and malt and toast and cola and BBQ sauce. Flavor has cola and rootbeer and BBQ sauce and sausages. Finishes full bodied with a spike of booze.
