Warm koperkleurig bier. Zoete karamel van pure mout. Lange bitterzoete hopnuance in de nasmaak. Elke vergelijking gaat mank.

Bottled. A hazy amber beer with a beige head. The aroma is sweet malty with notes of caramel and fruit. The flavor is sweet with notes of straw and malt, leading to a dry bitter finish. Thanks fonefan and Brugmansia for sharing.

(Bottle 3o cl) Courtesy of fonefan. Slightly hazy amber golden with a small off-white head. Aroma of sweet caramel and a vague buttery touch. Medium body with sweet caramel and a fairly bitter finish. 031008

Another beer from the new series. The Witte Vrouwen was a belgian white, this Willibrord is an amber ale. Hazy copper color, short white head. Aroma of amber malts, bit metallic. Bit sour yeasty taste, some malts, bit metallic. Not an impressive brew.
