From tap. Pours hazy dark brown to almost black. Small tan head. Aroma is toasted malty. Breadish, caramelish and roasted malty. Toasted malty and caramelish. Toasted malty finish.

Draught @ The Gibson. Opaque dark brown with very small creamy tan head, faint caramelized malt aroma, low carbonation, caramel-molasses taste with medium bitterness, somewhat thick body, medium bitter finish. Bit too bitter for a porter

Beer Table To Go, NYC tap: pours dark brown with a beige head. Aroma is dark chocolate, light pretzel, roasted malts, dark coffee. Taste is roasty and lightly bitter. Not much sweetness. Smooth body. Good porter.
