At the source: pours black with a bone head. Aroma is light notes of spice and vanilla, chocolate, roasts, coffee. Taste is chocolatey. Cinnamon is barely perceptible. There be some vanilla but not a huge amount. Mostly bitter coffee, malt, and some sweetness. Pretty good.

Growler from Milk and Hops, Chelsea. Dark brown pour, tan head, medium, drippy / spotty lacing. Aroma is chocolate and cinnamon, with a little vanilla. The flavor leans fairly sweet (with the same components as the aroma), a little earthy, and with a light roast component as well. Lactose comes through on a smooth, creamy feel. Soft carbonation. Fairly easy drinking. Leans sweet, but there's enough here to balance it out. Nice beer.

Draught @ Milk and Hops. Inky black with small beige foamy head, faint roasted malt aroma, low carbonation, slightly sweet mocha taste with a hint of cinnamon, smooth body, longish mocha finish. Well balanced porter bordering a milk stout.
