Draught @ Albion. Cloudy dull yellow with smallish creamy off-white head, faint coffee aroma, high carbonation, lightly bitter coffee taste with a hint of cream, thin body, abrupt finish with very little coffee aftertaste. Not bad, not great.

Tap at brewery part of trolley tour. Not the prettiest pour. Nose is coffee and cream, tastes is much the same with very little else. Very creamy mouthfeel with sweet on finish. Hop bitterness is nowhere.

On tap as Coffee Cream Ale at Breukelen Beer Merchants, Brooklyn. Pours orange with creamy white head. Coffee aroma and taste. Sweetish with hints of fruit. Nice combination.

The Sampler, Brooklyn tap: Pours an opaque orange with a white head. Aroma is coffee grounds and sugar. Taste is a lot of coffee grounds, which for whatever reason we think works weirdly with a lighter style of ale (is it because coffee is dark too... what about coffee with milk... well whatever). Anyway, this is sweet with some butterscotch notes, no hops, and plenty of coffee.
