Bottle shared at a tasting at kerenmkβs place. Dark brown with an off-white head. Aroma is smoky, a bit meaty, a bit woody, with malt, caramel and a nutty note. Sweetish flavor, malty, caramelly, a bit toasty, with nice smokiness (burnt wood, a bit meaty). Medium-bodied. Decent.

Bottle after a good Christmas Day of drinking. Pours dark brown with thin beige head. Nose of light smoke and cocoa. Tastes of cherry coke, light coffee, leather, malt, light pine, and smoke. Smoke isnβt over powering and bacon/ham is subtle. Palate is thinner than you would think. Overall very drinkable and tasty.

GBBF Day 1. Hazy dark amber - red - brown beer. Small pale tan head. Palate is smooth and light, semi dry. Smooth malt with a mild dark chocolate streak. Whisper of smoke. Very fine minerally carbonation. Touch of dark fruits before a smooth and dry finish. Not bad at all.
