Halftime helps keep me in Belgian brews, this time it is T4 from Transmitter, who had a Belgian strong dark ale I acquired to sample before. Not bad. This time it is a tripel, I open the tall boy can before pouring inside of my Great Heights snifter. An orange tinted yellow liquid with a glorious head of arctic white foam to appreciate. Strong carbonation also. The scent is yeast, ripe yellow fruit and grain. I have a drink. This is a good tripel, maybe even better than that. Peaches, nectarines, hops as a nice offset, crackers, a indication of grapefruit, candi sugar and malt. A nice fullness. This is the second top-flight domestic tripel I have rated in a week, wonders never cease.

On tap at Wakefest. Pours gold with medium white head. The aroma is yeast, floral, pure sugar. Medium body, yeast, wheat, citrus, boozy, dry finish, good.

Bottle. Hazy golden with very small frothy off-white head, acidic aroma, high carbonation, lightly bitter beginning with a bit tart yeasty flavor, thin body, long bitter malty taste. Not bad, a bit bitter.
