A nice big 1 Litre brown bottle from the LCBO with a cap, and a swing-cap to close it after opening. Pours a slight hazy, copper-amber colour, with an off-white head that is fizzy, but gives one glass a little coating over it. The other glass has not much. Some lacing as the brew goes down. Spicy aromas of cinnamon with notes of pumpkin and alcohol. Nice creamy-oily mouthfeel. A bit more spices going on in the taste, but still, all well-blended with nothing really sticking out like a knife. Cinnamon, nutmeg, clove, pumpking, grain malt and a touch of hop. Quite a nice Imperial pumpkin ale that I would buy anytime (especially for today - Halloween).

Poured from 1L bottle. Aroma of cinnamon and nutmeg with earthy leaves. Copper brown in colour with light head. Sweet medium body with a little kick at the end.

Plenty of head on this one and a lighter brown body. Okay ale flavour with the pumpkin shining through, but the body is still too thin. An okay effort but there are so many better efforts at this out there.

1L swingtop from Malt & Vine. Pours copper with a beige head. Cloves, cinnamon and nutmeg are upfront aroma. Fairly intense. Med body. The taste surprise is that there seems to be a surge of chocolate before all the spices attack. The anise sort of tags along in the finish. It’s a pretty dry and spicy finish. There’s some sweet, but the spice hammers it down. Pretty darn good.

2013-01-01, draught at Manchester Public Eatery, Vancouver, 6-5-6-3-12=32
Beautiful copper color; medium sized head. Quite strong aroma of cinnamon. The body is well structured, the flavor is sweetish, with moderate spicy touch (good blend, one spice doesn’t overwhelm the others); there is some roastiness, and a light vegetables touch; just a bit too bitter for this kind of beer.

2011-04-08, bottle from Central City Liquor Store, 7-5-6-3-14=35
Hazy amber color; compact head. The aroma is spicy as expected, this one portrays mostly the nutmeg, but there is also some cinnamon of course. The body is medium-round, there is some malt flavor with some residual sweetness, mild spices; correct bitterness.
Not bad, and it avoids the common flaws of other pumpkin/spice beers.

Bottled. A hazy red beer with notes of lazing beige head. The aroma has notes of malt, caramel, spices, and pumpkin. The flavor is malt, caramel, fruit, pumpkin, and spices, leading to a dry spicy finish. Thanks fiulijn for sharing.

Bottle 100 cl. Courtesy of fiulijn. Pours a pretty much clear amber with a smallish off-white head. Your usual pumpkin spice aroma. Fairly solid body, lots of caramel and sweet fruit with pumpkin pie spices. No bitterness. 080411
