At the source: pours near black with beige head. Aroma is roasted and toasted malts and rye and coke. Taste is spicy and bitter and kind of sweet. Nice body. Some aftertaste. Pretty solid.

Draught @ Albion. Opaque brown with large foamy tan head, coffee aroma, medium carbonation, lightly bitter mocha taste with a hint of berries, thickish body, medium bitter mocha finish. Nice smooth porter.

Tap at Jimmy’s 43. Deep dark cloudy brown fine head that dissipates. Nose is cocoa and light fruit. Tastes of chocolate, coffee, light fruits, some rye, spruce notes. Very not bitter creamy mouthfeel. Pretty tasty.
