Draught. Rich golden yellow with small foamy off-white head, faint malt aroma, sweetish malty taste, medium carbonation, smooth body, abrupt finish. Easy to drink.

On tap at empire farmstead. Pours out a crisp pale golden topped with a white head. Nose is light pit fruit some belg candy sweetness and a little spice. Taste is more of the light belg candy sugar some spice pit fruit and grain.

Hops and Hocks, Brooklyn tap: pours light copper with a white head. Aroma is rounded candied fruit and bread. Taste is sweet and bubblegum. Very light hoppiness. Not my thing.

Sample at the brewpub. Clear dark amber color with a thin white head that diminishes steadily to a compact film. Top ring of lacing with spots underneath. Aroma of malt, fruit and hops. Medium body with flavors of earthy malt, hops and ripe fruit. The finish is semi-sweet with a malty aftertaste. Decent overall.
