Whether making a run to the corner store or through the mountains, this gloriously crisp and flavorful IPA is worth grabbing. With bold hops and a lively citrus kick, enjoy Beer Run from start to finish.

We brewed a flavorful IPA because that's what we like to drink after a run and that's what we see all of our running friends reach for. But to make sure this is a beer that runners want to drink after a run, we brewed a test batch of Beer Run IPA and we’re hosting a series of Ninkasi Beer Runs in cities around the country so runners can try it and let us know what they think. After a run, of course.

Bomber from Bine & Vine. Pours gold with a white head. Aroma of fresh pale stone fruit and citrus. Med body at least. Rather foamy carbonation helping there. It is bitter, almost like citrus zest, and the malt is just enough to support a huge amount of hop. Like it bitter? Get this! Yummy stuff.

Draught @ Albion. Clear rich golden yellow with small foamy off-white head, bread aroma, low carbonation, lightly hoppy taste, thin body, long hoppy finish. Nice IPA but a bit on the bitter side.

Draught at Alibi Room, Vancouver
Hazy dark blond color. Nice hoppy aroma, fruity, a bit resiny. Very good malt flavor, lean, some toffee, crackers, dry, and then a nice resiny hopping and citrus zest.
Lean, dry, and bitter with a lot of hop quality. Excellent.

On tap at the Alibi Room, pours a clear golden with a small white head. Aroma is fairy restrained, with gentle citrus hops. Flavour is hoppy, but without much character, showcasing citrusy hops upfront, with a little pine, and dry biscuity malt. Still, well-done for what it is, as generic as it is.

Draft - Nice pale malts and some citrus hops. Clear gold with a decent white head, bitter sweet pithy and peel notes.
