Bottle from a supermarket in Portland. Juicy hoppy tropical fruit aroma with lots of citrus, grapefruit, notes of peach and mango. Flavour is lightly sweet with a firm bitter finish. Body is medium. Lovely juicy fruits, royally hopped. Very tasty.

Clear golden and copper coloured body with a very thin pure white head, only two centimetres tall. Aroma of citrus, grasses, light hops, a bit of earth and some moderate malt aromas with earth and some sticky sugars noticeable as well. Medium-bodied; Assertive earthy and toffee flavours at first with a big dose of grass, hay and citrus right behind with some blood orange notes, a touch of unfinished sugars and ending with an assertive and almost astringent bitterness that is caused by the hops, but almost showing citrus instead. Aftertaste is on the richer side, but with a good balance throughout, some alcohol hits out, but more hops and bitterness than sweetness for sure, and almost a bit too much earthiness for the style, but a good balance throughout. Overall, a nice and refreshing beer, but still showing a lot of flavours, some complexity at the end and a still somehow, easy-to-drink vibe. I sampled this stubby twelve ounce bottle purchased from Total Wine in Alexandria, Virginia on 31-May-2017 for US$2,86 sampled at home in Washington on 25-August-2017.

At a tasting, thanks, smallish bubbly head, cloudy very light orange to yellow color, aroma of orange marmalade, citrus and a bit of stale grains, flavor of fruit jam and tea, medium empathic bitterness, quite sweet, hint of alcohol. Drinkable but a bit old.
