Holy booze bomb batman. Draft during lunch probably not good idea. Hazy orange brown with thin beige head. Nose if fruit and brandy. Tastes of brandy, very earthy, some dried fruits, light molasses and caramel. And old duck with plenty of alcohol warming.

The Sampler, Brooklyn tap: pours brown with a beige head. Aroma is some roast, spice, light fruitiness. Taste is somewhat sweet. Very little hops. Kind of disappoinging from Other Half. Not impressed but harmless. Still high alcohol and stuff was well covered. Not really a biere de garde.

Deep chestnut brown color, good beige head. Berryish, grassy, Earthy aroma. Medium-bodied. Berryish, earthy, sweet - almost strawberryish with kick of alcohol. Kind of strange heavy biere de garde, maybe more or less Belgian strong ale.

Pours dark reddish brown with a smooth head. Aroma of ripe fruits, berries, spices, malts, chocolates and funky yeast. Taste is funky, sweetish and malty with some spices, berries and vanilla. Finish is sweetish, malty and caramely with some earthiness, funky yeast and vanilla notes. A bit strange, but works surprisingly well.
