Bottle. Golden in color with a small head. Actually smells better than it tastes. Aroma is like a gingerbread cookie. Taste however, like a gingerbread cookie dunked in beer. Not so good.

Draught. Slightly cloudy bright yellow with small foamy whitish head, high carbonation, ginger aroma, spicy taste with prominent ginger and some cloves, abrupt finish. Interesting brew.

12 ounce bottle into pint glass, best before 4/15/2015. Pours hazy/cloudy deep orange/amber color with a 1-2 finger dense off white head with good retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings down the glass, with a moderate amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of caramel, brown sugar, toast, biscuit, cinnamon, nutmeg, clove, ginger, and herbal/yeast earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance and complexity of dark/bready malt and herbal spice notes; with solid strength. Taste of caramel, brown sugar, toast, biscuit, cinnamon, nutmeg, clove, ginger, and herbal/yeast earthiness. Minimal herbal spice bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of caramel, brown sugar, toast, biscuit, cinnamon, nutmeg, clove, ginger, and herbal/yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Good robustness and complexity of dark/bready malt and herbal spice flavors; with a great malt/spice balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth and moderately creamy/bready mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is very well hidden with minimal warming present after the finish as expected of 5.2%. Overall this is a nice spiced wheat beer. All around good robustness, balance, and complexity of dark/bready malt and herbal spice flavors; and very smooth and easy to drink. A very straightforward and nicely enjoyable offering.

Bottle: Very cloudy, dirty yellow-gold with a thick, yellow-tan head. Orange pulp, ginger, cinnamon aroma. Gingerbread, orange malt, clove, cinnamon flavours. Not overly sweet, but close. A fun, light, little holiday beer.

12 ounce bottle. Pours a hazy yellow with a thin frothy off-white head. Decent head retention. Aroma of gingerbread and citrus. The taste is cinnamon, ginger, citrus. A bit of bread. Thin-medium bodied, mild lingering spice.

Sight aroma of oranges with mold. A hazy beer a little darker than pale. Quite spicy, would say initially, the ginger is underdeveloped compared to all the other spices in there. However, as the session continues a prong of ginger does develop. Not sure if these spices are a perfect companion or just a concoction of spices to make another rum of the mill over spiced holiday brew. Decent co2 saves this from being a boner.
