*Formerly PMX* - To label a beer as extraordinary is to have complete trust in its ingredients. Crystal filtered artesian water, whole hops, and the choicest malted barley create this American-style pale ale. The character of American pale ales varies from region to region and is dependent upon the ingredients used. In Phin
& Matt’s, one can expect harmony between malt and hops without dominating tastes of sweet
or bitter.

Bottle from Downtown Discount Beverage, Dover, NH. Aroma is bread, dough, and light citrusy hops. Appearance is slightly hazy golden yellow with nice sparkle, insignificant head and mild foamy lacing. Taste is medium malty sweetness with some fruit followed by dry, long mild bitter finish. Palate is medium bodied with average texture and average carbonation. Overall, a decent amount of complexity with nose and taste with slightly above average appearance and palate.

Just a nice hoppy american pal ale. Not much too say about it, just a solid example of the style.

Botella de 33 cl en el lúpulo en 28-05-2014, en el momento. Color ámbar oscuro con espuma blanca. Sabores y aromas maltosos con ligeros toques de frutas. Cuerpo medio fácil de beber y bastante refrescante. Ligero amargo final seco y algo áspero y tosco, me esperaba algo mas delicado. Normal.

12oz bottle from Wegman’s, Buffalo. Amber with a thin white head; malty aroma with perhaps a touch of orange zest; floral taste with a caramel body; and a pleasantly bitter finish. OK, but nothing more.

Bottle - Pale malts and grassy hops. Clear light gold with a thin white head. Pale malts, bittering hops and no real flavor. Bitterness overwhelmes balance.
