Brewed with Pale, Vienna, Munich and wheat malt for a solid base for all American hops, focusing mainly on the variety “Citra.” Citra hops are a relatively new variety introduced in 2008. It was bred as a hybrid of a number of different hops, including Hallertauer Mittelfrüh, U.S. Tettnanger, East Kent Golding, Bavarian, Brewers Gold, and other unknown hops. The resulting hop, Citra, has a distinct citrusy and tropical fruit flavor and aroma. In Citra ass down we used American Columbus for bittering and 11# of Citra at the end of the boil for late kettle addition flavor and aroma. Then we added 6 more pounds Citra and 5# Centennial post fermention for aroma. Rebrewed for your tasting pleasure!

Deep golden color with a fine thick white head. Good lacing. Looks good. Fine intensity in the aroma, only a bit to harse. Medium (+) body and a fine carbonation level. A bit sweet and feels a bit unbalanced. Malty, citric, some pine and quite tropical fruity flavor. Actually better when it got warmer.

Pounder: Pine and honey nose, fairly strong. Hazy orange, medium yellow head, nice lace. Honeycomb and pine, grain at midpalate. A little tinny. Full body, chewy, moderate carbonation. Flavorful.

Can. Golden pour. Aroma of bitter pine, malt, grassy hop and raisin. Taste of citrus, bitter grassy hop, caramel and pine. Nice.

Caña en el lupulo 24..12..2016 (r374). Color amarillento con espuma blanca Aromas y sabores maltosos afrutados con toques ligeros herbaceos y ligeramente cítricos. Cuerpo medio algo denso y pastoso. Bastante buena. Para repetir.

Tall boy can from Beertopia 2016 at home. Dark copper pour with white dense head. Aroma is effervescent peach citrus zest. Taste is juicy orange and stone fruit, zesty bitter bite, lots of booze. Heavy breadiness too. Slightly rich palate but works well. Good DIPA - aroma especially.

2017 re-rate: 3 week old keg at CYO AtG event. Clearish gold with a finger of foam that lingers. Big citra nose with tangerine and hyuganatsu citrus dominating. Alcohol hidden very well. Good malt character that compliments the hops well. Clean and crisp with some light bitterness on the finish. A great beer when fresh. Can from Gambrinus. Pours a clearish gold with a finger of foam that dissipates quickly. Lovely citra nose with iyokan, tangerine and grapefruit. Caramel on the palate with orange. Finish is a little harsh and bitter. Great nose though.

Can at PT’s. Pours a hazy orange with frothy white head leaving spotty lacing. The aroma is citrus, pine, resin. Medium body, juicy, citrus, dank, light bitterness, very good.

Sample from can @ Olutexpo 2016. Hazy golden color with a thick white head. Citrusy, tropical fruits, pineapples in aroma. Flavor has citrusy hops, pine, tea, some caramel. Strong bitterness. Pretty good.

(Can, 0.355 l, 20161028) The beer poured golden and hazy. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had fruitiness, citricness, tangerine and malts. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were fruitiness, citricness, sweetness, malts and bitterness. Aftertaste was hoppy and bitter. A good extremely hoppy brew.
