Bottle. Golden in colour, with a decent, white, head and plenty of carbonation. Pine, citrus, grassy hop aroma. Sweet, citrus fruit flavours, with some balancing, creamy, malts and dryish finish. A solid IPA.

On draught at at least four different places in the Tarrytown/Westchester area 12/27-12/29/14
Light golden colored IPA with a generally medium-sized head with good retention and a bit of haziness.
Nose is not of the top-tier, incredibly fresh/lush/dank/whatever IPAs but it’s respectable enough with a bit of honey and lightly grainy malts creeping in as well. Alcohol is well concealed in both aroma and flavor.
This was the only decent beer at the wedding I was at one evening and while I wasn’t thrilled, I certainly wasn’t unhappy to drink it most of the night. The best part of the beer was the texture and attenuation, being not absurdly dry, but certainly crisp and drinkable. Pine, wintergreen, dry citrus (lemons, oranges, mainly) and a bit of leafy, green, juicy hop notes as well. Light on the malt notes, but with enough body to balance. Perhaps just a touch too bitter for my tastes.

Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a hazy orange-apricot color with a medium sized creamy orange-white head that left a bit of lacing. The aroma was tangy and sweet orange, grapefruit, lemon and touches of pineapple and pine. Medium length mixed hop finish. Medium body. Solid.

I received this in a trade.
This is reviewed from notes.
I poured it into a tulip because I thought it was a DIPA, but anyways, well here goes.
The appearance was a nice golden amber color with a decent level one finger white foamy head that maintains its composure over top of the glass for a good full minute. The lacing is clingy and somewhat stringy.
The smell had a large amount of grapefruit/tropical fruits with a nice little peach coming in as it warmed.
The taste was almost a perfect bittersweet citrus hops to malty sweetness. There was a quick grapefruit-like aftertaste and it leaves a sharp dry grapefruit finish.
On the palate, it sat about a medium on the body with a nice resinous sharpness rolling over my mouth and tongue like a good AIPA should. The carbonation was good for the style and for me as there’s a decent indication of harshness trying to pummel my tongue.
Overall, this was a great AIPA or if its a borderline DIPA, hey, no skin off my back. Its good and if I ever could get it again, I would.

Bottle. Better Beer Of The Month Club. Hazy golden with a white head. Pleasant hoppy aroma, very citric, with floral notes and a light malty note. Flavor has some malt with mild sweetness, a touch of caramel, a grainy note, citric and floral hops and a bitter finish. Medium-bodied. Nice.
