Pours deep copper with a tall, off- white head. Aroma of rye...nuts.. Earthy hop flavour..along with rye malt. Nice richness to this one. Pleasant bittering. Slightly spicy, smooth.... Nicely done.

Bottle at Sander’s place in NYC. Pours clear copper with a fine, foamy head. Kind of bready, some piney bitterness, dried fruits, gritty earth. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Some dry dirt to finish, mellow rye tang, toast, herbal hops. Not great.

Pour is a cloudy copper with a large white head. Aroma is some spicy rye and not much else including hops. Flavor is a heavy malt with a little rye malt but along with the aroma there is very little hop presence. KInda a heavy malt bomb and where are the hops?

Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a hazy chestnut color with a large foamy orange-white head that lingered and left decent lacing. The aroma was dryish and a bit spicy with gritty floral hops. The flavor was dry, perfumey, floral and herbal and was a bit rough. Long dry herbal and perfumey hop finish. Medium body. Eh.
