Tap @ Heartland Empire State. Dark brown. Roasted malts, coffee, burnt coffee beans, not sure if I got the honey, but pretty ok.

Drought. Dark brown color, large spongy tan head, slight bitter taste, nuts aroma, abrupt finish. Quite light and watery for a porter.

Location: On tap at the Brewery - Union Square, 3/23/10

Aroma: The aroma is lots of dark malts and a touch of honey
Appearance: Dark brown color with a tan head
Flavor: The taste is mostly dark malts, roasted and chocolate notes
Palate: The mouthfeel is alright, though it is a bit thin
Overall Impression: Overall this beer is alright. I don't really get the honey flavors in there that I was expecting. I really just didn't love it, but I could probably drink it again. Its a drop thin and underwhelming. Decent, though surely unspectacular.
