Bottle. Cloudy dark gold. Taste and smells like instant lemonade mixed with beer. Just not for me.

12 ounce bottle from Wegman’s Lake Manassas, opened 6/5/14. Pours a hazy yellow color with a thin fizzy white head. Average head retention. Aroma of tart lemon, ginger, spice. The taste is strong ginger, candied ginger, spice, dry lemon, pale malt. Medium bodied, lingering spice.

Pours cloudy, murky yellow, with a thin, off-white head. Aroma is lemonade. Taste is a sweet, mellow, honey/ginger/lemon....wheat. Nice flavour, but not much beer... Good blending of ingredients.....

Looks like a hefe. Smells like lemon candy. Initially bitter with wierd lemon polish effect on the back of the tongue. I normally like shandies but could do without this one. Tastes a little like my lemon flavored fermented out homemade cider and that’s not saying much. Some fine co2. Overall, not impressed Yes, lemon furniture polish finish too.

Bottle. Dark yellow clouded appearance, small foamy white head, citrusy aroma, high carbonation, sweet taste reminiscing of oranges, long finish. Nice but a bit too sweet.

Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a murky yellow color with a large foamy yellow-white head that lingered and left a bit of lacing. The aroma was tart artificial sugar, lemon, ginger and orange. The flavor was wheaty and bready with fairly strong notes of orange, honey and a hint of ginger. Medium length finish of bread, orange and honey. Moderately full bodied. Very nice.
