Tap at Pfaffen Haus, Koln, 26/04/13. Clear mid golden with a medium sized off white head. Nose is pale malts, light veg, grass, citrus. Taste comprises pale malts, grass, light caramel, citrus. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, crisp dry finish. Average/OK kolsch.

Draft at the beer hall. Pours clear golden with a white head. Aroma of light malt, light hops and a little biscuit. Flavour is light moderate sweet and bitter. Light bodied with moderate carbonation.

Tap @ brewery in Cologne. Clear golden appearance with a fluffy white head. A bit grainy, slightly herbal, grassy aroma. Smooth, grassy, a bit husky, grainy flavor.

Draught @ Pfaffen, Cologne. Pours clear golden with acreamy white head and lacings. Fruity and vinous nose and flavor. A bit of paper and straw. Smooth and dry finish.

On draught at the brewpub in Köln. The beer is a clear gold-yellow color with a medium foamy white head that evaporates steadily. Rings of lacing on the glass. Fruity aroma with notes of grainy malt in the background plus a bit of hops. Light body with a sweet fruity character and notes of grassy hops and malt interwoven throughout. The finish is sweet with malt and fruit lingering behind. Above average overall.

Sehr getreidiger Antrunk, wenig süß, etwas monoton. Süffig, etwas trocken, zunehmend herber Werdend. Auch die Süße steigt noch an, das Bier wirkt wenig abwechslungsreich. Wenig Hopfen und Honig. 12/10/11/9//10

Blond color with golden hue; fluffy head and nice lace. The aroma is delicate and fresh, with light malt. The mouthfeel is dryish, but the body is not too thin; the malt flavor is light, but pleasant; it has a correct bitterness level. Solid, refreshing.

Swing-top bottle (courtesy of koelschtrinker - thanks). Slightly sweet barley malt and grass/pepper/citrus oil aroma. Amber color with nice head. Sweet, lightly buttery malt and lightly bitter grass hops flavor. Nice - very unique.
