Wenn man jetzt noch Dombraumeister wäre, wüsste man, wie sich aus diesen Zutaten ein unvergleichlich süffiges Kölsch kreieren lässt. Aber das bleibt natürlich unser Geheimnis.

Bottle. Creamy white good mostly lasting head. A bit unclear. Pale yellow colour. Light malty and moderat hopy aroma, no yeast. Week flavor, moderate bitter finish spolit by a metallic touch. Dry palate. Not the best kölch.

Bottled (Thanks DepDoppelbock). Yellowish golden colour, big creamyish foamy head. Malty and salty aroma with hoppy hints. Flavour is dominated by malts and hops. At first a bit salty, but it turns quite sweet and soft in finish.

Bottled (BB 11/2006). Classic kölsch outlook: bright golden, creamy steady white head, lace. Weak aroma: papery malty. Malty with light fruity accent. Lemony-fruity aftertaste, some grassy hops underlying. Standard well-made kölsch.

Draugth at Delirium Café in Gothenburg, Sweden.Light yellow color, small white head. Malty scent and low bitterness. Malty flavor. Even though it’s an "ale" it feels more like a German style pils.6/3/6/3/12 = 3.0(33 cl bottle from Swedish Systembolaget)Clear straw yellow to golden color, big white stable head. Die Krone ist extrem grob und ist nach einem Augenzwinkern verschwunden. Der Antrunk ist mittelbitter und leicht metallern, der Mittelteil eher wässrig. Der Nachgeschmack ist leicht herb. Geht besser. Test vom 31.10.2005, Gebinde: Fass Noten: 8,11,12,10,-,11 - 10,68

(Bottle 33 cl) Pilsener golden with a delicate, huge and stable head. Very soft with a smooth mouthfeel and a very subdued bitterness. The hops add aroma but otherwise stay discreetly in the background. A very quaffable brew. 190702

(bottle) Clear and pale golden colour with a medium frothy white head. Malty aroma with a touch of grassy hops and restrained citric elements. Soft sweetmalty taste with a crispy dry hopbitter finish. Quite decent, but smooth and (rather) slim as a Kölsch should be.

Pale golden, medium sized white head, longer lasting; shy malty nose; starts with a moderate sweetish maltiness, light malty flavour, quite thin bodied; light hop-bitter finish. All in all too watery for me; there are better examples of the Kölsch-style.
