Bottle, Carringtons, Chorlton. Clear light gold with a smallish white head. Aroma was a bit of grassy hop and low key malt. Slightly sweet flavour with a vague herbiness; dryish finish. Fairly crisp and clean but ultimately rather boring.

bottle, pours light golden color, with a thin white head. Had to sniff this for a good minute, and came away with only very faint hop notes. Nice mouthfeel, kind of silky with a light carmel malt note that ends with a light hop finish.

(6/21/08) Draught at the Leipziger Bierbörse festival in Leipzig. Clear straw color with a small white head. Aroma has malt and some hops. Sweetish flavor of malt turning into mild hoppy bitterness. Light to medium body. Refreshing but nothing more.

(Bottle, Bishop’s Arms, Vasagatan, Stockholm, 9 July 2008) Golden yelow colour with brief, white head. Fruity, malty nose with pineapple and delicate grassy notes. Malty taste with notes of citrus, pineapple and grainy hints towards the finish. Light body. Decent but actually a bit boring.

Bottle. Sweet barley and metallic aroma. Pale yellow color with large head that quickly disappears. Sour milk and barley malt flavor with quinine hops finish. One of the hoppiest Koelschs.
