Part of a Belgian tasting at K&L in Redwood City. One of the highlights of the tasting. Pours a hazy cherry puree with minimal head. Cherry is overt but not overpowering on both the aroma and flavor. Dry finish. Very enjoyable.

Piwo kwasne, bardzo winne, owocowe, wiadomo wisnie. Ciemno rozowo czerwona barwa, intensywna metna. Piana rozowawa ale niewielka, szybko tez opada. Dobry kwasny i wytrawny kriek

On tap @Luppolo Station (Rome). Pours red with a little head. Aroma of sour cherry, vinegar, barnyard, citric notes. Flavour is medium sour with vinegar notes, cherry, tart. Medium body, light carbonation. A bit rough but nice.

Sampled from bottle at Kaapse BAF 2016. Beatiful opaque ruby red with light pink head. Sweet and sour and cooked cherries. Rich fruity. Light woody note of cherry stones. Light cobwebs. Over medium body, soft carbonation and rich juicy feel. Lovely tart cherry finish.

At BAF. Opaque deep ruby red with small pink head. Looks amazing! Sour and sweet cherries, some red berries, light funk, dough, minerals, light lactic notes in the background, some light herbs in the finish. Under medium sweet and sour. Medium bodied with soft fizzy carbonation. Great.

Surprised I haven’t had this. Red color. Dry yeast in the aroma. Cherry in the aroma also and even more in the flavor. Sour, but not as !such as a lambic. Good fruit sour.

Draft @ BBP Good Beer Feast 2016. Couleur rougeâtre, acajou, col rosé assez léger. Arôme au nez fortement cerises macérées, griottes, fermentés, pointe de funk qui semble être de levure sauvage mais aussi des cerises acidulées. Palais est aigrelet mais raisonnable, cerise râpeux en fin de bouche, bien fruité, avec un léger côté terreux fruité. Sans tomber dans du Belgian Red, on est dans un profil fort plaisant, quoique le palais devra être habitué au niveau d’aigreur.

330ml Bottle - Dark red in colour with a pink head. Cherries, wood and almonds in the aroma. Cherries, vanilla and wood all feature in the tart and fruity taste. A good balance between fruitiness and tartness.

KØLF 080416. Dark red colour with a pinkish head. Aroma is funk, cherries. Flavour is cherries, almond, malt, yeast, funk, lemon. Medium body. Nice beer.
