Sampled at Vill & Syrlig. Blood-red body with a tiny head. Pleasant aroma of cherries, vinegar and some almond. Nice sour cherry flavor with some general fruit, but mostly sour cherries. Medium body and dry acidic aftertaste. Quite straight forward, but nice for sure.

330 ml bottle into tulip glass, best before 2/31/2018. Pours lightly hazy dark ruby red color with a 1 finger dense dark pink head with good retention, that reduces to a ring of lacing. Light spotty lacing clings on the glass. Aromas of big sour black cherry, plum, currant, green apple, red grape, light cider vinegar, brown sugar, toasted oak, light pepper/funk, and yeast earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of cherries, fruity/funky/acidic yeast, and oak barrel notes; with great strength. Taste of big sour black cherry, plum, currant, green apple, red grape, light cider vinegar, brown sugar, toasted oak, light pepper/funk, and yeast earthiness. Light-moderate fruity/acidic tartness and yeast spiciness on the finish; with lingering notes of black cherry, plum, currant, green apple, red grape, light cider vinegar, toasted oak, light funk, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Fantastic complexity, robustness, and balance of cherries, fruity/funky/acidic yeast, and oak barrel flavors; with a great sweetness/tartness balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Light-medium carbonation and medium bodied; with a very smooth and moderately acidic mouthfeel that is great. Alcohol is very well hidden with minimal warming present after the finish. Overall this is an awesome young fruit lambic style. All around great complexity, robustness, and balance of cherries, fruity/funky/acidic yeast, and oak barrel flavors; and very smooth and easy to drink with the balanced acidity. A highly enjoyable offering.
