Draught @ Mikkeller & Friends. Pours cloudy black with a very small brown head. Aroma of sweet malt, caramel, rich chocolate, Cocoa, oak, light cherries, brownies, bourbon. Flavor is sweet, malt, chocolate, Cocoa, wood, light tart, bourbon. Medium body, soft carbonation, sweet finish with warming alcohol. 110517

From tap. Pours murky brown with a small hesd. Aroma is chocolate and toasted malty. Sourish and slight fruity. Coconut, oily. Dense toasted malty finish.

Tap @ Mikkeller & Friends. Murky very dark brown with a tiny beige head. Aroma is sweet, roasted malt, chocolate, coconut, vanilla, wood and bourbon. Flavor is very sweet and moderate bitter. Sweet and moderate bitter finish with a little alcohol. 110517

Bomber courtesy of Milsem. Pours blackish dark brown with a small mocha head that doesn’t leave much trace on the glass while dissipating. Smell malty, tiny fruity, tiny spicy and slightly boozy with roasted malts, burnt caramel, vanilla fudge, charred wood, Nescafé, chocolate covered cherries, green chili, minerals and bourbon alcohol. Taste is sweet, slightly bitter, malty and slightly fruity. Mouthfeel is soft, round, tiny astringent, slightly boozy and medium bodied. Finish is sweet and bitter with roasted malts, caramel, chocolate covered cherries, cherry juice, soil and bourbon alcohol. This looks like oreo chocolate milk. dark brown, lots of stuff floating around in it, thin head. The smell is pretty outrageous but the most unique beer I’ve ever smelled. I don’t get any bourbon, i do get a little vanilla, chocolate, I guess cherry or some other kind of tree fruit. The taste though, well, it’s not holding back any booze at all. 12% and you taste it. you do get cherry absolutely and like a chocolate hershey’s bar kind of flavor. it’s sweet throughout, malt-bomb, actually a little graham cracker and a lot of almond joy elements of coconut, chocolate and nuts. Still thoughh, it’s nice but trying to do too much at once.

On tap at the brewery. Pours a very dark brown with small beige head that lasts. The aroma is cherry, wood, roast, chocolate. Medium body, bourbon, roast, chocolate covered cherries, boozy finish, very good.

Draft - Dark chocolate, bourbon and Woody notes. Jet brown with a light brown head. Dark chocolate, cherry and lots of barrel notes. Heat in the finish.
