Draught@Arendsnest, Amsterdam (as Ramses MOM Imperial Porter). Black colour, small brown head. ARoma is fruity, caramelly, mildly lactic along with some wooden and toasted notes. Flavour is rye, fruity, floral, some resin as well as liquorice, toasted notes and mild yeast. Surprisingly watery feeling considering the 13 % abv.

Sample from tap @ Arendsnest. Black color. Big, light beige head, with uneven bubbles. Aroma’s: moderate sweet, drop, red fruit. Additionally roasted malts retronasal. Flavor is moderate sweet, rye, moderate bitter. Medium bodied, alcoholfeel is moderate (certainly doesn’t feel like 13%). Long finish with some ash, moderate bitter. Nothing wrong with it, but didn’t make the impression I expected.

Draught @ De Arendsnest, Amsterdam
Aroma is surprisingly fruity with hops and some licorice tones. Cannot feel the 13% on aroma side at all. Flavour has grapefruity hops, licorice, some gooseberry bush and minerals. Finises with lingering bitterness. If this really is 13%, it hides it rather well. Not sweet or heavy at all but no signs of alcohol still.

Draught @ Van Moll Brewpub. Dark brown color with a dark red glare coming through, medium sized beige to light brown head. Aroma is malts, lightly roasty, liquorice, lightly some kind of fruityness. Taste malts, again a slight touch of that slightly weird fruityness, slightly some dark malts. Doesn’t taste like 13% ABV at all. Decent body and carbonation. Nothing really wrong with it but not very nice either.
