Sampled from tap at ’Craftbeer Corner Coeln’. Clear, very dark red to black with a beige head. Sweetish, malty, rather roasty and slightly resiny aroma of dark chocolate, coffee, licorice and pine. Moderately sweet, malty, quite roasty and a little resiny taste of dark chocolate, coffee, licorice, pine and some vanilla, followed by a medium long, roasty-bitter, rather resiny finish. Medium to full body, creamy to oily mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Very good!

(Bottle, 0.33 l - batch #740 - BBE 09/2022, from Alko Viikki, 20170303) The beer poured black without any head. Aroma had burnt malts, cocoa and vanilla. Palate was medium bodied with low carbonation. Flavours were burnt malts, coffee, cocoa, vanilla, ash and bitterness. Aftertaste was burnt and bitter. A tasty brew but too flat.

Botella 33 cl en el kraken 24..08..2016. (r164). Lote 656 hasta 02..2022. Color negro intenso con espuma beige. Aromas y sabores, vainilla y toques de cacaos con amargos secos al final. Buena. Cuerpo medio algo líquido y espumoso. Al final lo más interesante. Buena sensación alcohólica, sobretodo al calentar. Buena para repetir.

Pours pitch black, no real head just a tiny ring around it. Lovely cocoa, dark chocolate and vanilla aroma, getting more intense within seconds - tasty chocolate cake. Malty sweet, quite chocolatey with decent warming alcohol, quite hot actually. Some vanilla again and roasty coffee finish. Lingering after. Very strong, just a bit too boozy, but still very lovely.
