Tap at 6e Noordelijk Kerst- en Winterbierenfestival, Hoogeveen. Aroma is coffee, espresso, mocha, malt, some fruity notes, hint of hops. Flavour is light sweet with a moderate roasty coffee hoppy bitter finish. Body is medium. Light but enjoyable ’cold coffee’ beer.

Bottle. Amber color, malt, caramel and a hint of coffee in the aroma and flavor. Sweetish, with some floral hops. Cookies. Decent.

Bottle at home. Almost a year passed its best before date. Hazy caramel with light tan head. Sweet caramel malts, old coffee, berries, hazelnut, sugar, dust. Medium sweet and quite bitter. Body is medium and carbonation is about average. Sweet and bitter roasty caramel and coffee finish. --- Beer merged from original tick of Kopje Koffie Glazenwasser? on 23 Dec 2017 at 13:34 - Score: 6. Original review text: 3.2

33 cl. bottle @ home, bought @ W. van Schaik, Vianen. Light brown with a beige head. Malty aroma with some light coffee notes. Sweet taste with some coffee bitterness. I was expecting a stout or a porter, given the fact that coffee was involved, but combining it with a brown ale works reasonably well as well. Nice beer.

Hazy amber with thin lacy head. Initially there’s toasty malts but in the finish and aftertaste subtle coffee notes come through.

Lichtbruin bier, ietsje troebel. Schuim is snel weg. Aroma heeft de koffiegeur in zich. Smaak is bitter, niet hoppig, maar koffiebitter. Deze bittere smaak blijft even hangen.

33cl bottle from trade with Douberd, many thanks! Pours slightly hazy dark orange golden colour with a mid-sized off-white head. Aroma of nuts, mild coffee and red fruits. Taste of red fruits, coffee, caramel, brown sugar and nuts.

0,33l bottle at home as part of Euro Local Swap courtesy of bierkoning, big thanks. Date says 12/2015, but I think its the bottled date. copper / brownish quite hazy color small off-white / yellowish head. smells tobacco, spices, sea weed, nutty, light marzipan. average smell. full body, soft carbonation, slick mouthfeel. tastes of caramel, coffee, bitter herbs, spices, sea weed, tobacco. finishes bit peppery with notes of coffee and caramel. hmm, not a fan of this one, quite weird coffee notes that do not blend together at all with the other flavours.
