La Shaman is a dry stout brewed with smoked chipotle chilli peppers, habanero chilli peppers, and raw cacao beans. This is a collaborative project brewed with Yves Leboeuf of Brussels Beer Project.

330 ml bottle. Close to black body with a nice, dense beige head. Aroma has light roasted malt, chocolate, coffee, marmalade and a bit spicy. Flavor is smooth, dark, medium roasted mat, dark chocolate, chili, dry fruit and balanced, moderate bitterness. Fine balanced body and long lasting smooth aftertaste with some hot chili towards the end. Well made, solid brew.

Borefts Beer Festival 7th edition day 1 25/09/2016. A dark black / brown coloured pour with a tight tan head. Aroma is roasted malts, smooth malts, chocolate, hazelnut. Flavour is composed of milky chocolate roast, toasted coconut, toast and a hint og tang. Palate is full and velvety, highish carbonation.

Draft. Aroma: chili, coffee and caramel. Taste: very warming (chili), caramel, chocolate with chilli, brandy, hot beer :)

Svart farge med beige skum. Lukter mokkabønner og litt krydder. Smaker fruktig, kaffe/sjokolade. Avslutningen er desverre alt for spicey for min smak. Chillien tar helt overhån.

From bottle at Café Dublin in Trondheim with UKM people 26.06.16. Ebony. Diminishing brown head. Roasted rye, roasted barley, dark chocolate and vanilla in aroma. Similar taste, with lots of chili in aftertaste. Excellent!

Black with a brown head - Dark malt aroma - Dark malt body with some roasted malt notes and then comes the chilli burn - The chilly burns in the finish - This has pepperburn in the back and it is ok

Tap at Kaapse 2nd Anniversary. Black tan head. Dark roasted choco malts & shitload of pepper. Really nice strong spiciness overruling everything. Over medium body, low carbo. Tasty!

Tap at Kaapse 2nd Anniversary. Black tan head. Dark roasted chocolate malts and shitload of pepper. Really nice strong spiciness overruling everything. Over medium body, low carbo. Tap at Kaapse Brouwers festival. Black with beige head. Coffee, lots of chili peppers, roasted malts, dark chocolate, vanilla, light cinnamon. Medium sweet with roasted bitter finish. Over medium bodied with strong chili burn. Nice but the heat is overpowering almost everything else.
