The region where Oppigårds is located is called Dalarna, hence the name of this lager. It’s an am­ber lager brewed with organic malt. A modern style lager with balanced bitterness and hop aro­ma and toffee notes from the caramel malts.

Flaska från SB. Smak och doft av humle, malt, karamell, citrus med toner av grapefrukt, örter och granskott. Fruktig, rund och len, ton av metall, lagom sötma, fin beska med smak av citrus och grapefrukt.

330ml Bottle - Amber in colour. Malt, sultanas and dried apricot in the aroma. Fruity, malty and slightly sweet taste with sultanas, caramel and biscuity malt.

Gylden brun klar med høyt Offwhite skum. Lukter karamell, alkohol, røde bær og noe fersken, mye bitterhet i denne, alkohol og karamellsødme. Lang alkoholbitter avslutning.

Draft. An amber beer with a beige head. The aroma has notes of straw, malt, and buttery hops. The flavor is sweet with notes of straw, malt, and caramel, leading to a bitter finish.

(Draught at Stockholm Beer & Whisky Festival, 24 Sep 2015) Dark golden colour with frothy, off-white head. Malty, hoppy nose with toast, citrus, orange peel and a touch of grapefruit. Malty, hoppy taste with notes of toffee, citrus, grapefruit, orange peel, treacle-toffee and a balanced citric bitterness. Medium body, with balanced sweetness. Tasty and well made modern style lager with a fresh citric hop character. Nice one.

Borefts VII. Day 2. Keg. Bright clear gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Palate is light and semi dry, fine carbonation. Dry lagerish malts. Little ripe orange citrus. Very dry finish. Bitter linger. Okay.

[9/25/15] Draught sample at Borefts Beer Festival 2015 in Bodegraven. Clear golden. Aroma of cooked vegetables. Sweetish flavor with cooked vegetables. Light-bodied.

Keg at BBF 7, Bodegraven, 26/09/15. Clear golden with a decent off white covering. Nose is pale malt, straw, cereal, grassy, clean. Taste comprises caramel, light bready and pale malts, citric notes, cereals. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Decent enough for style.

Sampled @ Borefts 2015. Clear golden color, small to average sized white head. Smell and taste lightly malts, nicely hoppy, nice fruity touch, decently bitter. Medium body and carbonation. Quite nice.
