26/5/2020. Bottle from Waitrose, Peterborough. Pours clear bright gold with a frothy white head. Aroma of citrus, hops, sweet malt and sweet tropical fruits. Medium plus sweetness and light bitterness. Moderate body, average carbonation. No mention of “exceptional” on the label and no evidence of it in the glass either.

Bottle. Amber in colour, with a slight, off-white, head. Caramel, rich tea mlts, some leafy hops, hint of wet cardboard, moderately bitter finish. So so.
