Shared bottle. Pours clear gold with a white head. Aroma and flavors are medicinal (from eucalyptus), banana, coriander, Belgian yeast, spice, alcohol. Okay.

75 cl-flaska från belgiuminabox drucken med ölföreningen. Smak och doft av torkad frukt, aprikos, kryddnejlika, tvål met toner av pissoar. Kryddig, stor sötma, aningen vass men fin balans och beska.

0.33l bottle. Hazy orange body with a quickly collapsing white head. Aroma and taste of eucalyptus, orange zest, grains, lemon zest and some white pepper. The eucalyptus makes it quite interesting. I mean if it wasn't brewed by a Trappist monastery I'd think it was made for people who want to cover up their beer consumption. Unique beer, but I prefer more traditional tripels.

Bottle from Bine & Vine. Pours translucent copper with a foamy beige head. Soft odor of eucalyptus. Med body. Flavor is eucalyptus with some softly supporting ale that could be a very nice tripel. Might have a touch of yeast. Certainly not getting banana or clove. Lik’in it, but I think it takes ecucalyptus to the limit.

bottiglia 33 cl, schiuma bianca fine media persistenza, coloro oro limpido, al naso intenso eucalipto malto caramello pepe liquori, in bocca è molo aromatica ancora eucalipto alloro malto caramello spezie, carbonatazione decisa, corpo rotondo, dolce, lieve acidula, amaro moderato. Un'ottima birra ma troppo aromatica per i miei gusti. 17.02.18

Brun lett tåkete med høyt beige skum. Lukter anis, kamfer, ingefær og gjær. Middels fylde. Smaker belgisk gjær, anis, noe søtlig maltig karamell, hvete og noe hvithvinsfølelse. Middels

330 ml bottle into chalice, best before 12/17/2019. Pours slightly hazy golden amber/light orange color with a 1 finger fairly dense off white head with good retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a moderate amount of streaming carbonation retaining the cap. Aromas of big lemon, orange, peach, pear, apricot, red apple, cinnamon, sage, pepper, clove, light banana, honey, candi sugar, biscuit, herbal, floral, grass, and yeast earthiness. Very nice aromas with good balance and complexity of fruity/spicy yeast, eucalyptus, and moderate pale malt notes; with great stregth. Taste of big lemon, orange, peach, pear, apricot, red apple, cinnamon, sage, pepper, clove, light banana, honey, candi sugar, biscuit, herbal, floral, grass, and yeast earthiness. Light-moderate peppery yeast spiciness and light herbal/grassy bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of lemon, orange, peach, pear, apricot, red apple, cinnamon, sage, pepper, clove, light banana, honey, candi sugar, biscuit, herbal, floral, grass, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Very nice complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/spicy yeast, eucalyptus, and moderate pale malt flavors; with a great malt/spiciness balance, and zero cloying/astringent flavors after the finish. Fairly crisp/clean finishing. Light-moderate increasing dryness from yeast spiciness and carbonation. Medium-high carbonation and medium-plus body; with a very smooth, moderately bready/grainy, and fairly sticky balanced mouthfeel that is great. Mildly warming 8.5%. Overall this is a very nice Tripel. All around nice complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/spicy yeast, eucalyptus, and moderate pale malt flavors; smooth, crisp, clean, and easy to drink for the ABV; with the modestly spicy/drying/carbonated finish. Very well made example of the style. The eucalyptus leaves add a unique earthy/spicy twist that blend well with the base style. Balanced yeast and pale malt flavors; well attenuated/not overly sweet. A very enjoyable offering.

Light haze on this orange - gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Palate is light dry and has a stinging minerally crispness. Thin but sweet malts, sweet even for a tripel. Typical tripel spice. Less typical is some intense and slightly minty crystallised fruits. Light finish. An interesting and tasty tripel.

75 cl-flaska från belgiuminabox drucken med ölföreningen. En ganska klassisk trippel åt det sötare hållet, lite vass i kanterna och lätt kryddig. Helt ok och säkert bättre efter något år i flaskan. Gott

30th Oct 2017. Cheers Mat, 330ml bottle (6 months out of date) shared in Chez Sophie during one of our beer share evenings. Misty pour, amber with a white topping. Grainy, gristy aroma with a floral twist. The taste was semi-sweet and grainy like the nose, slight herbal/spice flavourings within the beer. Decent, but expected a little more depth and character from a Trappist brew, even if this was a Triple.
