Bottle @ Johns, Århus newyear tasting. Pours dark brown with a small light brown head. Aroma of roasted malt, dark chocolate, little coffee, caramel, little dark fruit. Flavor is malts, expresso, dark chocolate, dark fruit. Medium to full body, average carbonation, dry roasted finish. 291213

Bottle @ Aarhus tasting. Clear very dark brown with a small beige head. Aroma is sweet, roasted malt and strong coffee. Flavor is quite sweet and rather bitter. Dry and roasted rather bitter finish. 291213

Aroma: Chocolate and coffee.
Palate: Medium + body. Tad sweet, and an ok bitterness. Average to soft carbonation.
Taste: Chocolate, some roasted malt and coffee. Some fruity notes in the end. Well hidden alcohol.
Overall impression: Tasty evening sipper. But did not get any Christmas feeling.

Smak och doft av choklad, kaffe med toner av trä, aska och laktris. Rund och len, fyllig och fruktig. Jämn och fin i smakerna. Med en lite sträv eftersmak med smak av bitter, mörkchoklad. Mycket gott.

Bottled, from Systembolaget. Near black, minimal head. Tar and licorice up front. Mid sweet with full body and rounded mouthfeel. Licorice, coffee and earth some tarry smoke. Warming bitterish finish. Harmonious.
