Bottle from Kisjes Slijterijen, Meppel. Aroma is sweet malt, caramel, candy sugar, spicy notes, raisins, cough syrup. Flavour is cloying sweet with a some bitterness in the finish. Body is medium with low carbonation. Simple for a Quad, lacks complexity.

Bottle 0,33ltr: Hazy dark brown colored brew with an orange glow. Alcoholic sweet taste and hints of medicinal cough-syrup. Crazy tasting Quadruple, an old fashioned not so well brewed Dutch beer.

33 cl. bottle @ home, bought @ van Rooij, Culemborg. Clear reddish brown with a minimal white head. Spicy aroma with caramel malts. Sweet spicy taste with some metallic notes. Warming but a bit plain and a little too spicy

Bottle @ Niilstrong. Nice red-brown color, small off-white head. Smell and taste malts, lightly a hint of wood somehow, a bit bitter more than sweet, slightly iron even. Weird quadrupel. Drinkable, but not very good imo.
