Keg at Borefts Day 1 22/09/2017. An opque jet black coloured pour with a dank tan head. Aroma is sweet, maple, cinnamon bun, pastry. Flavour is composed of spicy cinnamon, woody chilli, sticky brown sugars, maple. Palate is mellow spicy warmth, oily, grainy. Decent, rounded flavours.

Tap @ NBFD. Deep dark brown color. Cinnamon, peppers, malt and roast in the aroma. Malty sweet caramelly flavor with cautiously dosed chili and cinnamon. ,Drinkable, with a slight chili burn in the finish.

Borefts IX. Day 1. Keg. Opaque black - brown beer, small tan head. Smooth and semi dry palate. Mellow dark malts, mild dark chocolate, little sweetness. Christmas cake cinnamon. Mercifully mild chilli. Light finish. Fine.

Draught @ BAF 2016 [ Borefts After Festival: BAF! ] @ Brouwerij Kaapse, Veerlaan 19-D, Rotterdam, Netherlands 3072 AN. [ As Kwartje Upgrade (Chili) ].Clear dark black brown colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, light beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, chocolate, chili fruit, fruity, spicy - mint. Flavor is moderate to light heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a long duration, dark malt, chocolate, chili, spicy - mint. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. Dunkel malzige, etwas kraftlos wirkende Noten zu Beginn. Wässrig malzig, dann deutlich scharf werdend, schwach. 10/8/8/7//8

Sampled @ Borefts Beer Festival 2017, day 2. Opaque pitch black color, dark brown colored head. Looks great. Aroma is a cinnamon bomb. Taste is malts, liquorice, cinnamon heavy and chili pretty heavily. Way too much for me.

@Borefts 2017 van tap, zwart met kaki kraag. aroma van smaken van geroosterde en gebrande mouten, chocolade, cacao, matig zoet, matig bitter, wat kaneel en chili, maar niet overdreven, matige body, geroosterd karakter, chili pittig afdronk.

Tap. Black color with tan head. Aroma is cinnamon, chocolate, some chili. Taste is cinnamon, roasted malts, green bell peppers, chili catch in the back. Lovely!
