500ml bottle, pours amber with a white head. Aromas & tastes of flora, fruits, caramel, grain, herbs, hops & malt. Medium body. Smooth light bitter finish. Quite enjoyable, shame they've gone out of business.

Bottle from a Spar shop. Pours a clear amber with no head at all. Aroma of sweet malts, caramel, nuts, light grassy and herbal hop. Taste is also very malty and caramel and nut noted but there is a nice level of bitterness running through and is quite clean tasting. Body also has a nice smoothness and a zingy carbonation which works well with it. Quite nice.

Bottle from the Co-Op Cirencester Services. Pours a clear light copper colour with a one finger creamy off-white head. Lively carbonation. Aromas of floral , caramel, toffee and a touch of honey. Taste is similar with added toasty notes, a little spice and an earthy bitterness. Dry finish. Medium body with a smooth oily mouthfeel. Not bad.

Bottle from Tesco, Aldershot. Although the label says IPA I guessed this would indeed be down as an ESB... Rich berry and marzipan aroma. Brown-gold. The refugees from a creamy white head form a narrow ring. The sweetness is what I first notice. Followed by lowkey bitterness, which gradually asserts itself. Some of the taste mirrors the aroma but less pleasantly there's also a watered down medicinal element t with some boiled veg. Light bodied. Thin if slick. Flat-average carbonation. Dry astringent finish. For something that smells nice and fruity the taste is a pretty flat letdown. Drinkable but that's it.
