It’s been a minute … but 75 Minute IPA is back! What began as a cask-conditioned ale at our Rehoboth brewpub back in 2011, quickly grew to become a cult-favorite amongst craft enthusiasts. From the groucho glasses that adorned the label to it’s slightly dry and lingering bitterness, 75 Minute was (and is) beloved by many.

Now in our latest iteration, this classic IPA is again brewed with maple syrup from Sam’s family farm in Massachusetts, while being continually hopped throughout the boil, and then dry-hopped with a slew of cascade hops. The result is a malty and earthy brew with citrusy-pine aromas, balanced by subtle maple notes.

Pours from a bottle a cloudy dark amber with a pillowy off-white head. Not sure what I’m missing here. Aroma is floral hops, maybe Cascade? Flavor is a nuanced, but underwhelming sweet hop blend. Finishes fine.

bottle - Pours deep copper with a two finger, lingering head. It smells of citrus, pine, and lightly toasted malt. The flavor has a good crisp bitterness with citrus and pine balanced by a big dose of sweet malt. I really enjoyed this one.

750 ml bottle. Cloudy orange color with thick sheets of bubbly lace down the sides of the tulip. Aroma is bright floral and pine with sugary sweetness.

The flavor has the hop varieties up front and transitions into a malt sweetness with a very minor hints of maple to balance the whole brew. Very balanced IPA yet the aroma is better than the flavor. For the standard IPA classification; it is about average. Drinkable can could be a service to your wants.

Bottle shared at a tasting at Beer Market Jaffa. Cloudy orange with a white head. Aroma of stale hops, slightly citric, and a bit of graininess. Sweetish flavor with malt, a bit of maple, moderate citric hops, a bit stale, and a faint bitterness. Medium-bodied, rounded mouthfeel.

$9.49 bomber, Wine Warehouse. I saw a chunk of white on the side of the bottle, so I rolled it a dozen times til it mixed in. Pours hazy amber, giant frothy off-white head. Smells of grapefruit and copper. Tastes like an alcoholic fruit juice. Peach, grapefruit, apricot finish. I don’t taste the maple.
