Brewed with Pumpkin and Spices (Cinnamon, Nutmeg, Cardamom, Cloves). This 8.0% ABV pumpkin ale is heartier, spicier, and more caramelly and pumpkiny than its faint brethren! Perfect finisher on a cool autumn night, or match it up with a slice of pumpkin pie and fresh whipped cream. If you don't agree this is the mother of all pumpkin ales, then you just don't like mothers!

355 ml. bottle sampled / shared @ Tim’s De Molen & assorted beers tasting // cute label // looks amber / brown with a brief white head // smell is wow, crazy amounts of cinnamon, I love it, lots of canned pumpkin pie filling, touch cloves, sweet nutmeg & caramel //taste is sadly not as crazily over the top as the smell but still fine, sweet canned pumpkin pie filling, cinnamon, nutmeg, caramel, sweet, herbs, finish is lightly bitter floral & oddly some mint (?), mint is not entirely my thing, bit of a minus and weird, small touch of booze // great mouthfeel // could be a bit extremer for me & min. mint // still lovely, I need more pumpkin beers

Dark amber colour, white head. Aroma of pumpkin pie, cinnamon, spices, cloves, cooked pumpkin. Sweet pumpkin pie flavour, malty, spices, cinnamon. Herbal finish, cloves.
Quite OK, might well be the best pumpkin beer I’ve tasted to date, but I’m not a fan of the genre.

Clear dark abmer to red beer, small aery off-white head, pretty unstable, non adhesive. Aroma: very spicy, nutmeg, cloves, cinnamon, overripe banana, sugary, somewhat fruity, other overripe fruits.MF: soft carbon, medium body. Taste: bit sweet, very spicy, cinnamon, ripe fruits, some cloves, banana. Aftertaste: spices, bit dusty, some caramel, cloves, overripe fruits, bit minty. Forget it "mother of all pumpkin ales", this ain't nearly as good as S.T. Pumking!

Refrigerated 12 oz. brown bottle from JStax poured into a shaker. Pours clear orange with small off-white head. Little lacing, low carbonation, and spice (mostly cardamom) aroma. Taste is nutmeg, pumpkin, some cinnamon, and some alcohol. Expected more, the spices and pumpkin don’t completely mesh, and the alcohol peaks through.

Bottle @ B.R.A.D. Fest, courtesy of Jetson. Thanks! Pours a clear, burnt orange appearance with a cream colored head. Quite spicy, pumpkin pie spice, vanilla, big cinnamon aroma that smells quite nice. Very spicy, tingly, rich pumpkin, all-spice, nutmeg, spice filled flavor. The spices cover the booze well. Overly spiced but tasty.

Bottle from Beer Distributors, New York, NY. A dark amber coloured pour with a small off white head. Aroma of pumpkin and cinamon, also slightly medicinal. Tastes of pumpkin, spice and caramel but still this medicinal taste is going on. It is certainly drinkable but I was expecting more from this.
