Amber Farmhouse ale
This deep amber hued ale takes it's inspiration from Germany while still nodding to the Belgian farmhouse tradition. The base is comprised of German two-row wheat, Cara-Munich, and roasted barley. Generously hopped with a blend of Perle, Spalt, and Hallertau Mittelfrüh, and fermented with a rustic Belgian farmhouse ale yeast. These elements together provide a melange of earth and fruit aromas backed with hints of caramel and a dry clean finish.

Dark color, amber-brown, cloudy, with small head. Aroma of malt and the clean sweetish yeast that they use in North America; very light fuity-sourness too. Reasonable body; some caramel flavor, followed by a disgraceful liquorice flavor that permeates the final; ordinary bitterness, with some alcohol perception too; it really seems not in prime conditions. Waste.

0.75l bottle @ Henrik, Bergen shared with ClubGonzo and RuneStumo. This little beauty pours a fantastic looking hazy dark nutty brown body with a nice dense and creamy off-white lasting head. Aroma is light chocolatepaper, ripe apples, yeast, mild wood and hints of some strange sawdust. Average to soft carbonation and has a watery to creamy mouthfeeling. Really nice flavors. Quite malty with good dash of caramel. It's also a bit sour and quite yeast-fruity. Solid stuff again from Stillwater.

Courtesy of Gillard. Pours hazy deep gold with tall off white head. The aroma is pulsing with spicy flowery meadow yeastiness and some lemon / lime like citrus hops. The taste is similar with light spicy yeast notes, fresh flowery meadow, some lemon and some lime too. Nice refreshing brew.

Keg at Craft Beer Co. It pours dark brown, with a foamy light beige head and low-moderate carbonation. The nose is caramel, brown sugar, pear, plum and melon. The taste is caramel, ginger, green vegetables, grass, orange, lemon, apricot, raisin, date, toffee, yeast and metal, with a light bitter finish.

On tap @ Beer Temple. Copper color with off white head. Smells a bit vegetal first (not so pleasant) but then fruity aroma’s come up, sweet fruit, a bit herbal. Flavor is sweetish with a hint of acidity. Finishes a bit dry, only mildly bitter and somewhat spicy. OK.

From 750ml bottle. Pours a dark ruby color with a medium sized white head (bit of lacing, small head remains throughout). Aroma is a bit of dark fruits, toasted malts, touch of Belgian yeast. Flavor is about the same, pretty full flavored.

Draft @ Mikkeller Bar, Copenhagen. Pours a slightly hazy ruby amber color with a small off-white head. Has a fruity malty spicy yeasty aroma with weak caramel hints. Fruity malty spicy caramel flavor with yeasty hints. Has a sweetish malty spicy yeasty caramel finish.
