Draft at brewery. Nothing ESB about this. Malty corn bread, sweet biscuit. Light hop bite. Low bitterness. Faint mineral.

Tap at New York Sports Bar in JFK. This beer had no aroma and a malty oxygen taste. That said, it was a beautifully clear copper with massive white head that was sustained.

From tap. Pours clear and golden orange to yellow with a small white head. Aroma is toasted malty, light caramelish. Bitter, toasted, slight fruity. Breadish and toasted malty finish.

The Sampler, Brooklyn can: pours copper with a white head. Aroma is light English hops and a mild caramel backbone. Taste is somewhat bitter. Light sweetness. Body very light. Easy to drink.

Draught @ Albion. Pours reddish amber color with small foamy beige head, very faint caramel aroma, high carbonation, slightly salty caramel taste, medium bitter finish. While all elements of an ESB is there, they don’t seem to be cohesive.

Aroma: The nose is light, clean malts, some grainy notes, caramel, light English hop aroma
Appearance: Pours a mostly clear chestnut-orange color with an off-white head
Flavor: The flavor is malty and clean as well, not overly sweet, closes with a bit of bitterness
Palate: The body is light-medium, it has an okay mouthfeel, and a lively carbonation
Overall Impression: I thought this was an okay beer, but not something particularly exciting. There just isn't a ton going on here. It's a fine beer that ultimately is fairly forgettable.
