Tap at Blind Tiger, Nyc. Amber color, decent off-white head, lace. Aroma has coffee, citrus and grapefruit. Medium-bodied. Woody, coffeish with piney-resiny hoppyness. Quite drinkable coffee ipa.

2 finger head. Dark yellow appearance. Nose is light. I get amarillo and simcoe, habanero and faint coffee. Almost no coffee. Mild bitterness. Not a fan

Snifter on draft at Worthy Burger. Murky Amber gold color with some head and lace. Aroma is infused with the coffee really well. Earthy bean, hints of soil. The nose coffee all the way.
I have had a Mikkeller coffee IPA and was wondering if this style works at all. The beer reminds of of that and doesn’t help me answer that question. Some light citrus hiding underneath the abundant earth coffee notes. The bitterness is all coffee bean. I didn’t have an issue finishing the snifter however, for being a coffee lover I feel like coffee works better in a porter or stout rather then an IPA. Really just isn’t cohesive. However, a coffee drinker can get through it just fine.
