Aroma of malt, caramel, fruits, red berries, herbal notes, hops. Flavour is medium sweet with a moderate bitter finish. Solid body. IPA is a bit of a stretch, more like a hoppy winter ale.

Botte. Murky brown color. The tiniest chunks of yeast. Red fruit and mango in the aroma. Hops, red fruit, ripe mango and cinnamon in the flavor. Full bodied. The hops compensate the sweetness. Good balance.

Tap. Brown-reddish color with off-white head. Aroma is malty, chocolate, raisins. Taste is malty, molasses, toffee. Oily mouthfeel with natural carbonation. Not bad (but I don't get what's IPA about this).

From bottle at Winterbierfestival Gouda 2016. Clear, dark amber with a medium large, creamy, slowly diminishing, tan head. Sweetish-malty, slightly fruity aroma of caramel, brown sugar, raisins and honey. Sweetish-malty, slightly fruity taste of caramel, honey, apricot jam and some pine, followed by a short, slightly bitter finish. Medium to full body, creamy mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Nice!

Bottle shared at chriso’s May 2014 tasting - London. Pours clear, rich amber with a white cream head. Tangy and meaty fruits on the nose. Medium sweet flavor, tangy, with bread, berries, some leaves and earth. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Sweet to finish with light tangy and leathery fruits. Not too bad.
