A traditional summer wheat beer marries a west coast pale ale.
Brewed with locally grown wheat, providing a complex mouthfeel,
and single-hopped and generously dry-hopped with Amarillo, creating a glorious citrusy aroma and finish. The approachable 5% abv makes this the perfect session beer on a summer day.

2 month old can A: Poured a lightly hazed pale gold with a small swirl of sediment. 1 of white head held up well and left a clinging ring of lace. S: Muted scent of lemon, wheat crackers and a bit of sugar. T: Follows the nose with bright lemon, spicy peppery notes and light wood. Brief pithy toasty aftertaste. M: Very light, crisp and creamy but a bit thin. Clean and refreshing. O: Simple but refreshingly drinkable. A nice summer session ale.

Pours yellow with a thick white head. Aroma of wheat, flat malt. Taste has vine must, some lemon, plain malt. Palate has continuation of the vine must, somewhat hoppy, rich wheat base. Good.

35,5 cl bottle @ hotel room, Ruoholahti. Thanks Jookos! Aroma has nice tropical fruity tones and pineapple juice. Flavour has minerals, plastic tones, harsh herbal bitterness and tropical fruit. Aroma was promising but flavour is a bit disappointment.

Bottle pour into nonic pint glass from Trader Joe’s. Aroma is strong pine and citrus, lighter herbs and resin. Appearance is hazy straw-colored yellow with nice sparkle, 1/2 finger-width ephemeral white fizzy head with trace lacing. Taste is grains, pine and resin. Palate is dry light bodied with thin, foamy carbonated texture, a little bit spicy. Overall, a fair amount going on for a session ale. Maybe this would have scored higher as a wheaty session IPA than an IPA-like wheat beer. Decent.
