A traditional summer wheat beer marries a west coast pale ale.

I poured this into a pint glass.
The appearance was a decent clear yellow color with a one finger white foamy head that quickly died and left some light lacing sliding down the glass.
The smell was citrusy and piney bitterness. Some light wheaty-ness did come in as it warmed.
The taste was packed with long lasting piney/citrus flavoring. The aftertaste took that and brought out a lot of lemon in that lead to a dry finish.
On the palate, it sat about a light to medium and had a decent sessionability about it. The carbonation was somewhat harsh but not overbearing for the style.
Overall, not a bad American Pale Wheat Ale, but not exactly one I’d really want again either.

Served on draft at Whole Foods Market Charlottesville. Pours a clear golden color with a thin frothy head. Poor head retention. Aroma of herbal hops and pale malts. Very similar taste. Medium bodied and pretty bland.

12oz bottle pours clear effervescent gold with white head. The aroma is lemon acidity at times and sugary cotton candy marshmallow at other times. The taste does offer up a decent dose of lemon like citrus with some acidity. Behind that is sort of a sweet floral cotton candy like sensation and a bit of grainy malts. OK, summer brew, eh? Maybe this is better when super fresh and what I have maybe isn’t super fresh.

Pours pale gold into a Sam glass. Bright white micro head conglomerates as it slowly recedes leaving spotted sheets. Resin and grapefruit aromas. Slightly harsh with sweet biscuit and bitter resin upfront turning to dry grapefruit in the lasting finish.

12oz Bottle. Aroma is a nice crisp wheat with a good amount of hops. Nice white head with some lace. Lively carbonation. Light body with a wheat backbone and a lighter hop in the finish. Its a nice summer ale that can be a good option depending on what your local market or bottle shop has. ok, wheat ale.

Bottle from Whole Foods in Sacramento, CA. Pours light gold with a slight foamy white head. Light citric aroma. Near medium body with foamy carbonation. Flavor is light malt with a touch of citrus. Finishes bitter, but with a papery note. Better than Bud.

Appearance: It pours a slightly hazy golden-orange color with a small white head
Flavor: The flavor is wheat, sweet flavors, and a crisp hoppiness for balance
Palate: This one is very clean, drinks pretty nicely, and is crisp and refreshing
Overall Impression: This must be a brand new one, as I'm only the second rater. Anyway, this beer was pretty decent, particularly for the style. Refreshing stuff, and a good brew for the summer. Probably would work well at a BBQ or out on the beach, but it won't blow anyone away with exquisite craftsmanship.
